Nestled in the Gennifer Braes, Lawing Lodge is West Region Scouts’ outdoor base for adventure. Stay in our hostel, hobbit huts, or camp under the stars, with plenty of space to run your own activities or dive into our instructor-led adventures, from high ropes and archery to canoeing and kayaking on Caplaw Dam.
Our dedicated staff and volunteers work hard behind the scenes to maintain the centre and run activities, making every visit safe, fun, and memorable.
Open to scouts, youth groups, other uniformed organisations, and commercial bookings, Lapwing Lodge is the perfect place to gather, explore, and make memories outdoors.
